The house cleansing, step by step

1. Clear: Open every window you can. Light the sage and walk through each room, moving from the back of the house toward the front door.
2. Protect: Light the black candle. Sprinkle a line of blessing salt across your front threshold and in the corners of each room.
3. Bless: Light the white candle and the palo santo. Speak what you're welcoming in: peace, love, prosperity, rest.
4. Seal: Mist the amber spray at the doorways. Place the selenite somewhere central, like the living room or a windowsill.

For no-smoke days, the amber smudge spray works on its own.

Please note: fresh flowers

If your kit includes fresh flowers, open the box as soon as it arrives and hang the flowers upside down in a cool, dry place if you're saving the kit for later.

Safety and care

• Never leave candles or smoldering herbs unattended. Keep away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
• Burn sage and palo santo over a heat-safe dish.
• Selenite dissolves in water. Keep it dry.
• Ventilate well. If you are sensitive to smoke, use the spray instead.
